2010
11 May (Classical Subscription Series): The return of the internationally renowned pianist Konstantin Shamray. This Russian pianist has won the prestigious Sydney International Piano Competition (2008) as well as achieving second place in the 2007 Academies of Higher Music Competition and a gold medal at the 2007 Russian Delphic Games. 10 June (Contemporary Subscription Series): Vertical is a jazz quartet with basses, drums, pianos, keyboards, saxophones and wind instruments. The band performs concerts regularly at jazz festivals and jazz venues in Australia. A CD is planned for release in 2010. Room 12, 7:30pm, $35/30/25 (GRC student), Subscription ticketing available.

presenting “ILLARA - Sounds and Images from
Luritja Country” (all original music written by
Stephen in the outback). He will be accompanied by the award
winning Austin Benjamin Trio. The evening will feature a major
complementary art installation by Bob Millis of Arthead, Sid

26 June: Multi-instrumentalist Adam Simmons will be performing at the Conservatorium. Adam is one of Australia’s busiest and most versatile musicians and specialises in woodwinds. He has performed with many international stars including Nigel Kennedy, Spiderbait, the Wiggles and the Australian Art Orchestra. Also, the Adam Simmons Toy Band have twice been the house band for ABC’s “Spicks and Specks”. Tickets are $20/$15 and $5 for students of the Goulburn Regional Conservatorium.
